Halloween 1997 – the last night of high school for Corey, Jango and their skater gang, The Gromits. Childhood is over and adult life beckons. But for Corey, his past has some unfinished business. When he encounters Jonah, a former childhood friend but now victimised by Jango’s cruel streak, Corey takes pity on him and agrees to walk him home for old time’s sake. What starts off as a normal walk through empty suburban streets descends into something darker and magical, as trip through their memories and ghosts of the past, and Corey is surprised to discover how much he still has in common with his abandoned friend. And even the most buried truths will find a way of coming to life. 并非严格意义的基佬文艺片，但行走在暧昧边缘的尺度把握的相对微妙。超自然元素与万圣节总是百搭不厌，校园凌霸与青春成长的酸涩，拧得好了，这两个小时看下来还是可以坚持不睏滴。

既不是同性，也不是奇幻，不知道想表达什么，校园霸凌也没讲清楚。主角颜值还很一般，学累了看个片也好累。

加入了万圣节奇幻惊悚元素包装而成的另类青少年友谊题材影片，编导将一个普通的故事通过奇幻悬疑的方式呈现出来，一开始会看得莫名其妙，但随着信息量的逐渐增多，豁然开朗的结尾多少还是会让人有些触动，摄影和音乐都不错，有些仪式感的场景也很赞，另外“同性”标签可以扯掉。★★★☆

男主和小时候的玩伴最后一起回忆当初，快乐时光和丢下正在被霸凌+强奸的玩伴。这一段其实是玩伴Jonah已死舍不得走的鬼魂跟男主一起度过的最后时光。满满的万圣节气息，友情是主题。
故事超级可爱的，关于小孩子的友情、关于释然和理解、关于万圣节的鬼怪。

以笑和泪回归孩童时代，反向的coming of age片，在与儿时玩伴修复关系的过程中吐出男性气质里的毒素，用少年之心重新定义Masculinity。拍得有点土，但没有把鬼魂的身份处理成一个廉价粗暴的反转，所以情绪很好地维持了循序渐进。（不过你们这一夜去的地方也未免太多了吧）
摄影不错，不故弄玄虚好好讲故事的话会好得多
用鬼故事讲述成长和霸凌，故弄玄虚还不搞基，差评！
